INFRASTRUCTURE
ArunPratap Singh Dev Government College,Shankargarh was established by theGovernment of Chhatisgarh on July the 11th2012 andaffiliated to the Saint Guru Univsrsity, Sarguja. The college issituated atManpur of Shankargarh Tahsilof Balrampur district of Sarguja divion. Thecampus of the college is spread around an area of 10 acres of land. This is located at an equal distance of 60Kilometers both from Balrampur and Ambikapur i.e. the district and the division headquarters.
Laboratories
Our Laboratories are fully equipped to meet student’srequirements for coursework. There are separate labs for Botany, Zoology, Chemistryand Geography where students conduct practical experiments in line with theircoursework.
CHEMISTRY LABORATORIES
This laboratory has all the necessary equipment for preparation of samples and standards for various analyses of liquid and solid samples
. The laboratory houses traditional equipment.
ZOOLOGY LABORATORY
The Zoology Laboratory provides the students with a suitable environment to develop a detailed understanding of the animal kingdom by exploring the physical, morphological and physiological characteristics of animals.
BOTNAY LAB
Botany lab is well equipped for undergraduate students to perform various botany practical
which are necessary for the study of the structure, properties, and biochemical processes of all forms of plant life, as well as plant classification, plant diseases, and the interactions of plants with their physical environment.

In order toinculcate feelings of cohesion and inclusiveness among its students, and to addvalues in the education system, the Vivekanand Mulya Anushilan Kendra has beeninstituted in the campus. The purpose of this initiative is to generate senseof acceptance and harmony towards diversities of religion, languages, culturesand socio-economic backgrounds. Through this centre, online lectures by expertsand scholars are organized on the topic of Value added education. In order todevelop thinking of students positive, inclusive, democratic and liberal,pictures of great persons, inspiring quotes, the Preface of the Constitution,Jantar of Gandhi, the poem ‘Bharat Thirth’ of Rabindra Nath Thakur, SwadeshMantra of Swami Vivekanand and the list of the Fundamental Duties have beenplaced and displayed on different places on walls of the college building.Birth anniversaries of Vivekanand, Gandhi, Patel and Radhakrishnan etc arecelebrated for the purpose to inspire students and to broaden their outlook.
CANTEEN
The objective of the Canteen and meal service is to protect by reducing the risk of foodborne illness, with proper sanitary conditions, and preventing adulterated food. the College Canteen has been functioning efficiently. The canteen is located inside the College.
